As a volunteer you will be a girl’s cheerleader, guide and mentor. You will help girls develop skills and confidence that last long after a Girl Scout meeting is over. Imagine the smiles, the excitement, and the memories—those moments you’ll share at Girl Scouts.
Girl Scouts of Western Ohio
For the duration of my first year at the University of Cincinnati, I lead a troop of first through third grade Girl Scouts at Robert's Academy in Price Hill. We met once a week for an hour during their after-school program. Over the course of the year, we learned life lessons, played games, made crafts, and worked on being the best girls we could possibly be. Through my Success in Allied Health class, I was also given the opportunity to think deeply about and reflect on my service at Robert's through weekly class discussions and written reflections.
